National Electoral Laws
The EUDO CITIZENHSIP National Electoral Laws Database comprises a sample of key electoral laws from each EU member state and ten non-EU states (Brazil, Canada, India, Morocco, New Zealand, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States of America).
Here you will find current versions of national laws regulating the right to vote and stand in elections at the European, national, regional and local level.
You can search the National Electoral Laws Database by the following criteria: country, level of election (EU, national, regional and local), and keyword (e.g. constitution, local government, Scotland, municipal etc.). Along with full text documents or relevant provisions, the database provides the following information for each item of legislation: country, level of election, date of enactment, title of document (English), title of document (original language), and date of entry into force (where this was obtainable). Where available (and relevant) English language versions of the legislation have been provided, where this was not possible, legislation has been provided in its original language.
Furthermore, a full index of the National Electoral Laws Database is available in PDF format here.
