Our goal is to provide academics, governments, international organisations and NGOs with information for research and evidence-based evaluation of public policies.

We do not offer information or counselling to individuals interested in acquiring the citizenship of a particular country and we do not encourage experts in our network to answer such requests.

Tóth, Judit

Hungary Country Expert

Tóth, Judit (dr.jur, PhD in legal sciences, 1995) is Associate Professor of Law and Constitutional Law at the University of Szeged. She has a 25-year experiences in public administration, codification and protection of fundamental rights as legal adviser in the Ministry of Interior, Office for Refugee, Ministry of Justice, Prime Minister’s Office, and Parliamentary Committee for Constitutional Reform and the Ombudsman. She has academic research and project management practice as Research Fellow since 1990 in the Institute for Political Sciences and for Minority Research. Tóth’s publications cover migration, nationality law, minority rights and policy both in Hungarian and in English, and she published about 200 articles, books or essays.
