Our goal is to provide academics, governments, international organisations and NGOs with information for research and evidence-based evaluation of public policies.

We do not offer information or counselling to individuals interested in acquiring the citizenship of a particular country and we do not encourage experts in our network to answer such requests.

Moreno Fuentes, Francisco Javier

Spain Country Expert

Francisco Javier Moreno Fuentes, Research Fellow at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), BA in Sociology from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, Master in Social Sciences from the Juan March Institute of Madrid, MSc in Social Policy and Planning from the LSE, and PhD in Political Science from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid (2003). He held visiting positions at international institutions (Harvard, Sciences-Po Paris), and taught at both graduate and undergraduate levels (Universitat de Barcelona, CEPEL-Université de Montpellier, Universitat Pompeu Fabra). His main areas of interest are public policies in comparative perspective, with a special focus on welfare, immigration and urban policies.
